Aluminum V-Frames - The key to an efficient, natural stride, the V-Frames create v-shaped tracks straight in deep snow while the tapered tail pulls less snow with each step, ultimately saving energy. The turned-up tail of the V-Frame also rolls easily into each step for a natural gait. Elektra frames are shaped to accommodate a woman's natural gait, with tapered tails, a narrower nose and outside rolling bends that nest the snowshoes together comfortably. Since women's needs are more than frame-deep, Atlas' binding designs are molded around a women's boot last, offer increased arch support and use carefully-placed strapping and padding to eliminate pressure points and keep circulation moving in the cold. Features Spring-Loaded Suspension (SLS) that allows natural articulation of the foot and deeper crampon penetration for extreme comfort and control over uneven and sidehill terrain, flexing the women's specific shape of the 1123 aluminum Elektra V-frame. Wrapp Comfort binding offers easy entry with a positive toe location and eliminates pressure points with insulating EVA padding. Heel lift bar stores flat and relieves calf muscle fatigue while ascending steep slops. Tempered steel All-Trac toe crampon and tempered steel tri-cleats.
